Why is ice type so bad?
Ice’s set of resistances is also pitiful; it only resists itself and has no immunities. This makes Ice the worst defensive typing in the game, even worse than Normal, which doesn’t have any resistances but has a full immunity instead. Weakness to common entry hazards is not a good property either.
