How did Pokemon series start?
The series, originally produced for the company’s Game Boy line of handheld consoles, was introduced in 1998 to the United States with two titles, known to fans as Red and Blue. In the games, players assume the role of Pokémon trainers, obtaining cartoon monsters and developing them to battle other Pokémon.

Is Misty older than Ash?
Misty is one companion that’s older. She’s actually 13 compared to his 10. This probably explains why she’s slightly taller than Ash in the early seasons of the anime. At least she’s 13 in The Electric Tale of Pikachu manga, a loose retelling of the anime.
Who is Ash’s dad?
Prior to Pokemon the Movie: Coco, much of what was known of Ash’s father comes from a short phone call with his mother, Delia Ketchum. According to the second episode of the original Pokemon anime, “Pokemon Emergency!,” Mr. Ketchum set off on a Pokemon training journey of his own.
